This type of Orange Pekoe Black tea is quite similar to the ones in China and Sri Lanka. Being made from 100% fresh tea leaves from tea estate in Phu Tho Province, our OP1 has black appearance and brisk, deep red liquor. Vietnam Black tea OP1 is the high quality and whole-leaf grade which is similar in appearance but much spicier than others tea in taste because of particular fermenting and drying process. As a result, the quality of Vietnam Black tea OP1 is maybe not good as Ceylonese highland Black tea but it is completely interesting for tea drinkers who like a mild and aromatic Black tea brew.

About Vietnam Tea Generally
Vietnam Black teas are produced in many areas that have been known for tea-house "retreats". For example some are located amidst immense tea forests of the Lamdong highlands, where there is a community of ancient Ruong houses built at the end of the 18th century.
Vietnamese teas have been largely unknown outside of mainland Asia until the present day. Recent free-enterprise initiatives are introducing these green teas to outside countries through new export activities.
